Oil and Gas Resources in India

India maintains crude oil production of approximately 602,336 barrels per day as of 2021, ranking 15th globally. Its petroleum reserves are primarily concentrated in the western offshore basins, notably Mumbai High, as well as onshore fields in Assam and Gujarat.

In 2020, India produced approximately 900 thousand tonnes of copper ore and concentrates, ranking fifth globally in production. Birds of India

India is home to an extraordinary avian diversity, recording approximately 1,212 bird species in 2019 and ranking eighth in the world. However, 88 of these bird species face conservation threats.
